Product Overview
Standard 200 L oil drums often cannot be pumped clean in winter as viscosity rises; heating them externally with a burner or heat gun is both hazardous and uneven. The HYG series forms the silicone heating layer into a flexible band that wraps the drum outer wall, tightened by spring clips or nylon straps, conducting heat uniformly through the wall into the contents.
The heating layer is an etched-foil or wire-wound structure laminated in silicone, about 3 mm thick, with an optional backing insulation to reduce loss. Surface uniformity is within ±5°C—no local coking. Controllers are knob or digital type with a PT100 probe on the wall, controlling 0–200°C.
Beyond drums, the structure suits IBC totes, gas cylinders, storage tanks, and pipes. Protection reaches IP68 for short rinse-downs. In flammable environments choose an explosion-proof controller and keep the terminal box away from liquid.
