Product Overview
The HYS series uses a 1" to 2.5" screw plug as the mounting interface, screwing directly into the vessel wall or a tee—no extra flange or bracket needed. Three U-tube elements are welded inside the plug for a compact build suited to space-limited small tanks, washers, hot-water tanks, and pipe tracing.
Threads are available in NPT, BSPP, BSPT, and metric M series, sealed with PTFE tape or metal spiral-wound gaskets. Element lengths run from 200 mm to 1200 mm with power density of 3–6 W/cm²—lower end for water, upper end for oil; for high-viscosity media we recommend reducing surface load and adding a thermowell.
Terminal boxes come in plastic waterproof, cast-aluminum, and explosion-proof types. The explosion-proof version uses a flameproof terminal chamber and ceramic terminals for solvents, cleaning agents, and other flammable-vapor environments. Three-phase models balance the load in star or delta internally with no neutral brought out, reducing field-wiring errors.
