Product Overview
When the vessel opening is small and immersion depth limited yet significant power is needed, straight-tube layouts often will not fit. The HYW series forms the elements into helical coils, gaining longer heated length at the same immersion depth while distributing heat evenly around the circumference to reduce local temperature differences.
Coil diameter, turns, and pitch are set by vessel ID and liquid level to avoid contact with the wall or exposure above the surface. Where level fluctuates, we recommend low-level protection—exposed elements overheat and fail within tens of seconds.
Surface load is typically 3–4 W/cm², lowered below 2.5 W/cm² for high-viscosity oils, with larger-diameter sheaths to reduce surface temperature. The whole coil is withdrawable, connected by flange or threaded interface, so cleaning needs no pipe disassembly.
Construction Features
- Helical coil structure extends heated length by over 40% at the same immersion depth
- Even circumferential heating keeps tank temperature difference within ±3°C
- Surface load 2.5 – 4 W/cm², suited to oils and high-viscosity media
- Withdrawable design for easy descaling and replacement
- Titanium, 316L, and PTFE coating available for corrosive media
